WHAT IS HOSPICE?
Hospice is a concept of specialized care designed to provide comfort and support to patients with terminal illnesses. Hospice meets the emotional, social and spiritual needs of the patient and the patient’s family and friends. Hospice is provided by a team of care givers and volunteers.
BUILDING OF THE
COMMUNITY HOSPICE HOUSE:
The Hospice House is a long-term goal of Hospice Alliance and will be fully funded by donations. This beautiful home will be designed for the comfort and peace of hospice patients. Instead of staying in the hospital or a nursing home, hospice patients can spend their final days in this home-like setting and will have access to needed services regardless of their ability to pay.
